Kristin Heywood is a passionate and experienced yoga teacher and birth companion who has been teaching for over 8 years. Her work is rooted in supporting women, children, and families through every stage of life—from pre-conception and pregnancy to postpartum and beyond.

Kristin specializes in Pre and Post Natal Yoga and Fitness, where she combines functional movement, mindful breathwork, and pelvic floor awareness to help women feel strong, supported, and empowered in their bodies. She also leads pelvic floor recovery classes, focusing on education, gentle reactivation, and long-term healing for postnatal bodies.

Her love for Kids Yoga stems from years of running joyful camps and classes that focused on helping children move, play, and express themselves freely. Kristin brings curiosity, laughter, and creativity into each session, believing that yoga offers young ones essential tools for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and confidence.

In addition to her specialized classes, Kristin teaches regular yoga sessions for all levels, holding space for people to move mindfully, connect inward, and build resilience both on and off the mat.

Whether she’s supporting new mothers, guiding toddlers through breath and movement, or welcoming longtime yogis into her classes, Kristin's approach is always inclusive, heartfelt, and rooted in the belief that yoga is a tool for lifelong connection—to self, to body, and to community.
