Meet your hosts for the weekend...
Kristin Heywood
Host, Yoga and Breathwork (Pranayama) Teacher
Kristin has been guiding women in yoga for over eight years, with a special focus on pre- and postnatal wellness. A devoted Sakalya Yoga practitioner for more than six years, she completed her 200-hour teacher training and is currently completing her 300-hour teacher training, blending Mudra, Mantra, Pranayama, and Asana into a holistic and heart-centered practice.
Kristin has led numerous weekend retreats and brings her nurturing presence as a Birth Companion and Postpartum Doula, creating a space where women feel supported, seen, and safe.
Students often describe her classes as deeply transformative, offering expansion and healing on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. At The Soulful Weekend, Kristin invites you to breathe, move, and reconnect with yourself in a gentle, yet profoundly rejuvenating way.
Meet your private in House Chef... Adam Carroll
Born literally between the cleaver and the counter in a family butcher shop, Adam Carroll’s life has always revolved around food, flavor, and craftsmanship. With over 30 years of experience in kitchens across Canada, he holds two Red Seal certifications, a rare mark of culinary mastery that guarantees both skill and creativity.
Raised with a deep respect for ingredients, seasonality, and the joy of sharing meals, Adam’s philosophy is simple: food should nourish the body, delight the senses, and feed the soul. From rustic comfort to elevated cuisine, his dishes combine heart, technique, and a lifetime of passion.
Over the past three years, Adam has been the Head Chef of Catering at Bingemans, a leader in Canada’s catering industry known for excellence at scale.
For The Soulful Weekend, Adam will be crafting all your meals, turning locally sourced, seasonal ingredients into memorable, delicious experiences that will make every bite part of your weekend’s magic. We are thrilled to welcome Adam to the Ananda Team <3
