“Motherhood means creating future generations of people. When you have such a privilege and responsibility, it must be conducted consciously.” - Sadhguru

Pregnancy is a powerful, vulnerable and evolutionary time in one’s life. A mother to be is readying all aspects of her life to welcome a new little soul to the world as she herself transitions from being a woman to birthing herself into being a mother.

A pre/postnatal Yoga practice can be a powerful offering that shares practical tools to support the overall wellbeing of mama and baby during this precious time.

Beyond the Yoga postures (asanas) which are so essential to build and maintain physical flexibility and strength throughout one’s pregnancy, the addition of Kriyas to one’s Yoga practice can help to deepen one’s conscious prenatal experience.

Kriya Yoga is the Yoga of electricity; action that creates liberation.

Kriya is the ancient practice of moving meditations that incorporate pranayama (breath work) and/or mantra (expansion/liberation of the heart/mind - chanting, vibration), practiced for a set period of time to help create a specific, desired shift that can be experienced on all levels of one’s being (physical, mental, energetic, emotional, spiritual).

Kristin leads Yoga classes that are complete and holistic, incorporating asana (Yoga postures) and mudras (gestures, seals, finger postures) along with kriya, pranayama and mantra.  These prenatal classes are specially designed to allow mama and baby to experience softness, strength, joy, love and connection while being held in a supportive and easeful environment.

These practices are designed to help mamas feel confident, centered and empowered, able to trust in their deep innate wisdom and offering tools that can contribute to the experience of a joyful pregnancy and to the potential of a smoother birth and postpartum period.
