Our Postpartum Pelvic Pilates class is designed to help Women rebuild core strength, restore pelvic floor function, and reconnect with their bodies after pregnancy and birth, no matter how long its been.
This mat Pilates class supports postpartum healing at any stage, whether you are newly postpartum or years past birth. Babies are always welcome, and all exercises are modified for pelvic floor safety, diastasis recovery, and real-life motherhood movement.

This class is designed for postpartum women at any stage who want to safely rebuild their core, strengthen the pelvic floor, and feel confident in their bodies again, all while keeping baby nearby.
Whether you are newly postpartum or years past birth, this class focuses on the muscles most affected by pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Through breathwork, mindful movement, and pelvic-floor-safe Pilates exercises, you will build strength, stability, and awareness from the inside out.
Postpartum is forever, and your body deserves support at every stage.
 What to Expect
This is a gentle but effective mat-based Pilates class designed specifically for postpartum bodies.
Each week includes a thoughtful progression of exercises to help you:
- Reconnect to your deep core muscles
- Strengthen the pelvic floor safely
- Improve posture and alignment
- Build hip and glute stability
- Support the back and shoulders
- Reduce pain and tension from carrying, feeding, and daily mom life
- Return to exercise without pressure or strain
We use a variety of supportive props, including:
- Pilates balls
- Resistance bands
- Yoga blocks
All exercises are modified for postpartum healing, diastasis recovery, and pelvic floor health.
Low-impact options are always offered.
Babies Welcome
This class is designed for moms.
Feed, change, rock, or cuddle whenever needed.
Your baby can stay beside your mat while you move.
There is no pressure, no judgment, and no expectation to be perfect.
Just a supportive space to take care of yourself too.

Classes are led by Kristin Heywood, a certified Mat Pilates Teacher, Pre and Postnatal Yoga Teacher, Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist, Certified Personal Trainer, and Reiki Master. She also brings her experience as a Breastfeeding Counsellor, Holistic Childbirth Educator, and Birth Companion.
With a strong focus on pelvic floor health, core rehabilitation, and functional movement for motherhood, Kristin combines Pilates, yoga, and evidence-informed postpartum exercise to help women rebuild strength safely after pregnancy and birth. Her classes are designed to help you reconnect with your body, restore confidence in your movement, and feel supported through every stage of postpartum, whether you are newly postpartum or many years into motherhood.
Kristin is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming space where mothers can move, heal, and grow stronger with their babies close by, while feeling empowered, educated, and cared for in every class.
