**Join Kristin’s Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Camp!**

Led by Kristin—a dedicated kids yoga and mindfulness teacher, mom of two, and longtime camp leader—this week-long camp is all about movement, creativity, and heart-centered growth.

Each day features a unique theme focused on core virtues like love, kindness, and gratitude. Through group discussions, art projects, and playful activities, kids will explore mindfulness in a fun and relaxed environment.

Movement is a big part of our day—we move at least five times daily through a mix of yoga, fitness, and playful exercises. The camp is child-led in spirit, encouraging creativity, self-expression, and connection.

Campers will enjoy hands-on crafts like beading, painting, and sculpting, adding their creations to a keepsake book they’ll take home at the end of the week.

This is a growth mindset-focused camp where we also explore topics like:

* Healthy eating and nutrition

* Managing emotions and energy

* Coping with life’s stressors

* Gardening and planting activities

We’ll spend most of our time outdoors—whether at the nearby park or in the backyard—enjoying nature and fresh air.

Kristin Heywood is a yoga teacher and Birth companion. She has taught yoga for over 8 years and has a passion for working with Pre and Postnatal families and kids. Kristin used to run kids yoga camps and classes for years before her studio in downtown Georgetown closed. Her focus is to allow the kids to express themselves through movement and play and encourage them to let loose and have fun. Kristin knows the powerful effect yoga can have when introduced to young children to give them the tools they need to get through the tough times life may bring and to help them regulate their emotions and learn to connect to themselves and their bodies.

Meet Maha Kali Jaya, a devoted yoga teacher, healer, and guide with over a decade of experience in spiritual practice and community care. She brings heart-centered teachings rooted in love, nature, and mindfulness, creating a safe and inclusive space where every child is welcomed, celebrated, and encouraged to grow. Maha Kali Jaya leads with compassion, creativity, and a deep connection to the wisdom of the Earth and the Divine Feminine.
