"I luckily found out about Kristin's Baby and Me class in Georgetown when my little girl was only 3 months old. I was feeling ready to get out and start doing things and this was the perfect activity for me and the babe to socialize (and move our bodies) since we just moved to Georgetown and didn't know anyone in the area. I met some amazing Mamas/friends in these classes and continue to get together with them weekly to do other activities. She always fostered that sense of community and created a safe space for everyone each week no matter what we were going through. My daughter just turned 8 months and now that she is on the move we are sadly ending our time with Kristin, but I will be forever grateful for her friendship, guidance and support. This class is designed for pregnant and postpartum women who want to reconnect with their core and pelvic floor, build total-body strength, and move with confidence—all while keeping baby nearby.

Each week features a fresh mix of exercises that target key muscle groups impacted by pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery. Through breath, movement, and mindful strength and mobility training, you'll build awareness and resilience from the inside out.

This fun, circuit-style class changes weekly and uses a variety of props, including:

  • Dumbbells

  • Kettlebells

  • Resistance Bands

  • Yoga Props

  • Functional Training Tools

  • Plyometrics (low-impact options available and we build to this)

You’ll leave feeling stronger, more connected, and supported—in both body and mind.

Classes are led by Kristin Heywood, a certified Pre and Postnatal Yoga Teacher, Pregnancy and Postpartum Exercise Specialist, and Certified Personal Trainer and Reiki Master. She also brings her experience as a Breastfeeding Counsellor, Holistic Childbirth Educator, and Birth Companion. Through prenatal yoga and holistic support, Kristin is dedicated to helping you connect more deeply with yourself and feel empowered through every stage of your journey.
