Kristin Heywood is a yoga teacher and birth companion with over 9 years of experience supporting families, children, and growing bodies. She has led family and kids yoga classes and camps in Georgetown for many years and is excited to continue bringing mindful movement back to the community.

Kristin’s family yoga classes are rooted in play, creativity, and connection. She creates a space where kids are encouraged to move freely, express themselves, laugh, and have fun — while parents get to slow down and join in alongside them.

She believes yoga can be a powerful tool for children, helping them build body awareness, emotional regulation, confidence, and resilience from a young age. Through movement, breath, and moments of stillness, Kristin invites families to connect with themselves and each other in a supportive, joyful way.
