About The Event
As new moms, we encourage building community and gathering with other moms and their babies to chat, practice yoga and meditate together.
We offer many programs at the Carriage House Studio that help us do just that, currently all virtual.
What we also believe in, is taking our practice off the mat, and in implementing Yogic and healthy life practices in our everyday lives.
We understand the busy-ness of life with a young and growing family; feeding baby and ourselves, household and family duties, being a good partner or friend and juggling when we are supposed to fit in any type of Yoga, meditation or exercise in to the mix!
This workshop will empower moms with knowledge on how to incorporate simple Yoga practices and fitness into day to day life. We will learn safe ways to exercise in the comfort of our own homes, with our babies right by our sides.
There is a lot of information online and some great resources out there, and all that said, when we aren’t breathing properly or using proper alignment for postpartum recovery we could potentially injure ourselves.
Let’s learn correct postures in our ways of sitting, carrying, feeding and holding our babies.
Let’s learn ways to breathe consciously, with our core and pelvic floor; building awareness and deepening our connection to our bodies.
Moms will leave with a 30 minute total body strengthening Yoga sequence with minimal props that focus on opening shoulders and on breath awareness linked with movement for a safe practice that also helps to rebuild of our pelvic floor and and strengthen our core.
All levels welcome, babies welcome.
