Join Meryl, a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, and Kristin, a Pre/Post Natal Yoga and Fitness Instructor, in this 2.5 hour workshop covering everything you need to know about your core and pelvic floor. Learn different ways to gain control over these muscles through breath and movement and how to take it off your mat into day to day life.
Common dysfunctions will be covered including diastasis, prolapse, incontience, lower back pain and more and students can feel safe to ask questions in an intimate setting with no judgment.
This workshop is open to all but will have a strong focus towards pre and post natal Moms. Whether students have given birth 6 weeks ago or 10 years ago, this workshop can help to restore balance to the physical body in the areas that are most affected by pregnancy and birth.
Meryl and Kristin will begin with an information session followed by guided movement and meditation which will allow students to experience and feel the information learned in a very physical way and where they will leave the session with the experiential knowledge that can help them to take control of their core and pelvic floor in daily life and activities.
